Endodontic treatment is aimed at chemo-mechanically minimizing microorganisms, inactivating their by-products, and optimally sealing the canal space to prevent future decontamination. Shaping for cleaning is an important step of the process. The purpose of shaping is to facilitate cleaning and provide space for placing obturating materials. In this course, we learn all about shaping for cleaning starting from the anatomy of apical canal, preoperative X-ray to how to work with length and width, and finally how to manage rotary files & apical finishing.
