Behavior Management in Dental Clinic

courses-details

Dr. Sarah Shafik

One of the most challenging aspects of pediatric dentistry is the management of the child’s behavior inside the clinic. To ensure you run a smooth operating system in your clinic you must develop a certain level of understanding of a child’s behavior, which we cover thoroughly in "Introduction to Behavior management in dental clinic ". We will be dissecting the mentality of the child along with how the parents can be of help and of course the importance of forming an understanding with your dental team regarding how you manage your patients. We also review the usage of nitrous oxide sedation in the pediatric dental practice.
