The temporomandibular joint (TMJ) maintains normal functions such as mastication, speech, esthetics, and overall well being. And only through the knowledge of this joint, its anatomy, and functional bio mechanics can we correctly analyze several of its disorders. It is vital to understand the far-reaching effects of any disorder in its anatomy, function, and psychological impact on the patients. This course takes us through the normal anatomy and functions of the joint and a brief review of its far-reaching effects which at times may sound very vague. Such knowledge will help you better manage disorders of the TMJ.
